Perissa Black Sand Beach
One of the biggest beaches in the Cyclades and the best in Santorini, it offers a great variety of restaurants, taverns, cafe, beach bars and water sports. It lies around 30 minutes by road from fira, and it will truly overwhelm you since it is indeed astonishing. The main road divides it into two territories: the one, towards Caldera, has impressive underground edifices, while the other is adorned with captain-houses (capetanospita). At the settlementâs side lies the castle, with its remaining parts offering unique views of the infinite blue and the famed sunset.

We had a great time touring the island. Our guide and driver were fantastic, as well as very patient and accommodating to our slower mobility. Our guide was very knowledgeable, providing information and in answering our questions. We enjoyed our tour very much and would recommend to others.

This was an amazing experience with so much history. There were multiple stops to show sights of significance and stories to make you envision them. The driver was great, gave us all the âsecretsâ of Santorini.

My husband & I booked this tour as an expensive Shore excursion option. It was a great find on trip advisor. My mother in law was with. She has some mobility issues. Santorini has lots of steps, cobblestone and hills. Our guide was very accommodating to every one on the tour ( there were 9 of us, including a teenager-from the same cruise) he picked us up at the exit to the Cable car, at the top of Mountain. He took us to all the main areas of the island. He was also very knowledgeable! Explained so much about the history, and how people live there now. He pointed us to great food, beaches & we made the sunset in Oia!! ( that is a must see!!) I highly recommend this tour to anyoneâs house has just a day here and wants to see the main points.
