About this activity

Depart by bus to Athinios port and embank on a unique greek traditional boat. First set sail for the lava islet of Nea Kameni, walk an ascending path to the crater of the still active volcano to enjoy incredible sights (1,5hours). Return to set sail for the second lava islet called Palea Kameni. Dive to find its Hot Springs, have the chance to swim in the green sulfur waters and experience bathing in warm therapeutic mud . Next is traditional island of Thirassia for free time (1,5hours). Visit the village of Manolas, which is accessed by winding stairs either by walking or riding a donkey. Back on the boat set sail back for Athinios. Disembark and by bus visit Village of Oia to admire magnificent panoramic views and the spectacular sunset. 15 minutes after the sunset head back to the meeting point to return back.

Excellent Sunset Evening

We pre booked before arriving in Greece and we had a fantastic experience on board this fabulous catamaran. The crew were very friendly and helpful. We had an amazing experience. The sunset was perfect as usual and we managed to get some fabulous photos. I would recommend this company as the catamaran was in excellent condition, it was not over booked (other boats were packed with no place to sit) and it was very relaxing. A few unfortunate events over shadowed the afternoon/evening as we were the last to leave the harbour as the larger companies bullied their way onto the moorings. It was a little heated, but eventually resolved and the crew more than made up for the delayed start. The BBQ was very nice (shrimps, pork & chicken) but only just enough for the number of guests (x 12) on the cruse. Dessert would have been good also. But the drinks were free flowing and there was plenty of choice.

Amazing!

Loved jumping into the water from the boat and swimming to the spring which were right nearby! I would suggest not taking the sunset at oia segment because you get dropped off there a few hours before sunset. All in all was still an amazing experience!

is a beautiful experience but when...

is a beautiful experience but when we get to the hot springs we need to swim!!! and the ship did not give life vest. then people who did not how swim could not enjoy, and it was a bit irresponsible because the sea was deep.

Be warned

Though the cruise was well organised from start to finish, getting to the sunset aspect of the tour was very disorganized. We were shuffled to a spot where we were not given clear instructions as to where to go after leaving the bus. After the sunset observations, the transfer back to my hotel was VERY confusing as no one knew which bus to take me back to Kamari. We had to be the last ones boarded as if we were begging a ride back to my hotel, we had to endure even dropping passengers off at the airport . We did not arrive back to our hotel until 10:30pm. VERY DISAPPOINTING

Fiwell planned

I was a bit disappointed, what was shown and stated on the web site was not 100% accurate. First off they did not state on the Web site that you would have to swim to the hot springs that you wanted to swim in, and given the distance from the boat to the hot springs, 30 minutes is not a long time. Not to mention if you are not a strong swimmer, you make want to think twice. Also we paid for the sunset part and that was canceled. We did not know this until after the cruise was over. The only reason I gave it an average rating is because the tour guides were very informative and friendly.
