- 1Santorini Volcano
1 hr - Volcano – Hot Springs – Thirasia Island – Cruise below Oia village- Return to Athinios port The tour starts with the bus transfer from the pick-up point to the port of Athinios and continues with the King Thiras boat to the lava island of Nea Kameni. King Thiras will make a stop to give us the opportunity to ascend the soil path and approach the crater of the still active volcano.
- 2Palea Kameni
1 hr - After seeing the crater, we will walk back down the path and get on King Thiras boat. We’ll sail to the second lava island of Palea Kameni and reach the Hot Springs. The boat makes a stop approximately 50 meters from the opening so you can dive in the green waters of the hot springs or relax and enjoy the view.
- 3Thirassia
1 min - The tour continues to Thirasia Island which was part of Santorini before the big explosion of the volcano. We will stay in Thirasia for two hours having the chance to go for swimming, have lunch next to the sea or explore the village of Manolas with its winding steps and traditional houses.
- 4Oia
Sailing across Oia, on the way back to Athinios port, you may take wonderful pictures of the cliffs and the breathtaking scenery. At the port of Athinios, the bus will be waiting to take you back to the place where you started the excursion.

Amazing!
Wonderful cruise. The king Thiras was amazing and the guide was very clear in the explanations. The places were also beautiful.
Great tour of the active volcano
We popped into one of the Kamari Tours centres to ask a couple of general questions on our first day in the. Area. The lady gave us helpful answers and a map of the local area, which included details of the tours offered. We travelled the island by public bus but Kamari tours offered something different including a boat trip to the volcano island of neo kameni, the hot springs and a few hours on Tharissa. The tour was well organised and ran to time. There was about the right amount of time at each stop and the guide Chris was excellent. Although the boat was full it wasn’t overcrowded like some tours we have done in the past.

Gray value trip which gave you an insight to the formation of Santorini over the years with beautiful scenery and great service from all.
Don't listen to the tour guides recommendations eat at Labros restaurant in Thirassia. The food is horrible
The tour itself was good. The guide was very knowledgeable of the history of this beautiful area. I am taking away a star because the guide recommended Labros restaurant and the food was absolutely disgusting. She must be related to the owners. I felt ill after eating just a couple of bites and i will probably never eat calamari again. Fortunately a couple of stray cats came along and even one of them refused to eat it. Kamari tours should really prohibit her from directing trusting guests to this horrible place. It just not right.
Great company, boat and guide!
We are really glad we did this tour with Kamari. From the punctuality of pick up time (which in Greece is no light matter), to the quality of boat, the information etc made it a very pleasant experience indeed. The crew were so lively and played great music to enhance the holiday mood. Cristos our guide was funny, every smiling and informative person. The King Thira is a big boat but they don't pack it tightly with tourists like the other boats, so it was spacious and we all made new friends this way. I would definitely recommend the swim in the hot springs, but do go with old swimwear that you can get rid off as the Sulphur stains your clothes
