A word of caution if you are prone to sea sickness, the seas can be a little rough in Santorini. I don't know how often this is an issue, but we received an email letting us know of the concern about sea conditions the night before our tour. I had only booked two days earlier and had not packed my patches for sea sickness. I still had some milder tablets in my bag. With these and being careful about eating and drinking and sitting on an upper deck, i ended up feeling fine. However, others on the boat did feel sick for part of the ride, so good to be prepared for this.
The communication from the office Was very good and the transport arrived 2 minutes into our 20 minute slot, the mini bus was clean and we didn’t feel unsafe during our journey.
So why 3 out of 5 stars.
There were 6 couples to collect in our mini bus and our collection slot was 9-40 to 10-00 am. The bus arrived at 9-42 and we were the third couple to be collected, at this point we were unsure of what lay ahead. We continued to pick people up at some distance from us and coming back on ourselves until every one had been collected.
We arrived at the harbour at 10.35 ish and were hurried to our waiting boat being watched by the other guests who were settled on the boat.
By the time this was done and set off it was 10-50 our tour should of started at 10am, we returned at 3-15 pm.
The tour was for 5 hours we did 4 and a half and because of this the early part of the trip felt very rushed as the captain tried to catch some time up.
One part of the trip was to visit hot springs which the crew found amusing and joked if your lucky you might find a warm spot and this wasn’t any type of hot springs I had seen. The warm spots which I didn’t find were in the sea between two islands, if it isn’t there don’t sell it.
So we had a nice day but felt the school report should say -
