Our first destination will be the volcano of Santorini! We will reach Nea Kameni’s jetty. You will walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide and he is going to explain to you everything about the history and the geology of the volcano. You will stay at the volcanic island for 1.5hr.
Our next stop will be the island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. We will stop there for 30min at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos’ beach. The waters are mixed with mud that they are full of sulfur.
Sailing above the underwater craters from Palia Kameni to Thirasia Island, the boat will anchor close to the island in order to enjoy the view and swim for 30 minutes and then you will have your dinner on board!
The end of the excursion comes on sunset time where the sun dives to the sea in the northernmost part of the island.

What To Expect
Santorini Volcano
Our first destination will be the famous volcano of Santorini! After 20 minutes sailing, we will reach Nea Kameni’s jetty. Should you are interested to be guided at the volcano, you should pay 2.5euro/ per person as an entrance fee. Then, you will walk to the volcano’s ridge with your guide and he is going to explain you everything about the history and the geology of the volcano. You will stay at the volcanic island for 1.5hr and in the end you will embark again to our boat for the next stop.

Palea Kameni
Our next stop will be the island of Palea Kameni where the famous hot springs are located on the west side. A place that is really popular for its thermal waters. We will stop there for 30min at a distance of 30 meters from the shallow waters of Agios Nicholaos’ beach. The waters are mixed with mud that they are full of sulfur, iron and other metals coming from the volcano and they are very good for the skin, rheumatism, arthritis and other physical pains. Important Note : In order to reach Agios Nicholaos’ beach is essential to swim extremely well.

Sunset in Oia
The end of the excursion comes on sunset time. Aphrodite sets sails and the sun dives to the sea in the northernmost part of the island. Our boat will stop very close to Oia village where you will have the chance to watch the warm light of the setting sun under the violet sky before the night falls. This is the most unforgettable experience as the Caldera and the village of Oia will turn into gold colour. Your trip with Aphrodite in this sanctuary of romance is going to be in your memories and your hearts forever!

Whole tour was great, but I have no words to describe the spectacular sunset. Don't expect anything special for dinner. It is only to satisfy the hunger.

It was a by our meaning the best experience to see the Caldera! the crew was amazing they were funny, relaxed and friendly. On the volcano one of the crewmembers joined us too the top and he told everyone who liked it some good ammound of information!
The food was good and more then enough for everybody!
Also the pickup was good we were picked up and dropped of very close to our hotel and the drivers were good.
Sunset sailing tour success

This trip was great value. It had everything volcano hike, thermal pool swim, Greek dinner and sunset all for a fraction of the price other companies were charging. We were worried that going on a 100+ people tour was going to be busy but we had plenty of room and was always easy to access the bar and toilets. Make sure you bring a warm jumper as can get windy.
The only downside was that our pick up transport dropped us off at the very busy new port and did not tell us what to do next and drove away. Two large sailing boats eventually came to the port and we had the find the right one. Even if he had communicated this it would have felt a lot more reassuring. Equally on departure no one had a clue which taxi they were going in and the taxi driver got up to 98 kph in a 50 kph zone!! May be wise to organise your own transport!
Value for money sunset tour of Santorini

Comprehensive tour of Santorini and geographic points of interest. At no point did the tour feel rushed or too slow. Trip up to summit of the volcano is easy enough, but wear decent shoes. Food was in plentiful supply (there were at a good number of people onboard) and reasonable quality for the location. Opted for transfer from our hotel in Oia to the new port, but the driver left us without instruction as to where to go next - and there was no info with the ticket either. Luckily we found a big tour group who happened to be going on the same boat
